About last gen being left behind

The development of the computer dictates otherwise OP.

As someone who has done programming, it is limited in many of a different sense and logically speaking. What it is not however is knowing how to put more information on a simple display.

There is more then a few ways for the 360 to be brought up to speed. There is more then a few ways for the PS3 to be brought up. This is about developers. Different skillsets, different trades, different, different, different...

I already posted a thread on b.net, home to cozmo and deej, requesting the actual reason for it. Feel free to stop in:

Here's the rum. I know of different skillsets which naturally make development difficult for developers. There is a lot to consider. There is a lot to work on. There is often time less capability for program building on the obviously older models...

But what most people don't know is the history of computers. Cloud technology for example? We had those. In the 90's. What we didn't have was fast enough internet and support for cloud technology to be capable of anything innovative. Fast forward from the huge leap of dial up to high-speed DSL or broadband and a few thousand dollars of actual funding to keep cloud tech running? You get cloud tech.

Same principle here. It's just "new" versus "established". Bungie could easily come out tomorrow and say, "We heard your feedback. We'll make you Rise of Iron for the 360 and PS3" and absolutely no one who doesn't know project development will say, "That's not possible."

Lastly. They aren't stuck. The Xbox is selling now cheaper then when I managed to buy it and we have forward compatibility. They won't lose a single thing. This was the reason why Bungie put that as a priority for Destiny.

Good luck guardians and till we become Iron guardians? I'll see you in prison...
