About to retire irresponsibly…….

Honestly, I'd wait a year or two and maximize everything. Living out of an RV is not as cheap as you think. Plus a lot of fixed expenses with homes are now wildly variable with an RV. I'd take a quick peek at your health insurance to give you an idea of what you might need.

This is just my opinion, and I have health care needs, so it's a little bit different for me.

My question to you is why do you want to retire at 60 and not another age. Currently my partner and I are having this debate. Unfortunately we are in our '50s though. I can say though that having extra from inheritances is nice, but it does not fully make up for other financial pressures. What I can say though is to get yourself a tax attorney and or plan will in advance if you so desire. Mishandled inheritances will be taxed brutally by the IRS.
