About shipping in Nu: Carnival…

I'm a but skeptical of nu carnivals fanbase becoming toxic unlike other shows with a lot of shipping.

Many of these people who start toxicity can't look past their"moral superiority" hence don't like Fujoshi in the first place. You're more likely to see people attacking it from the outside.

Shows like Black butler or Killing stalking for example had plenty of fans who read and for the psychological horror than shipping, which leads to infighting. These shows/manhwas are CLEARLY bl but the target demographic isn't clearly defined.

Nu carnivals target demographic is pretty obvious. It's a very niche group of people they've decided to target: People who enjoy r18 BL. You're not playing this game to have "healthy, coffee shop au ships". This Fandom isn't a space for 13 year Olds arguing who's ship is in line with twitter moral codes and whose isn't.

Finally, there are no toxic people in nu carnival. I like how this game doesn't display any sexual assault since it's off putting to many people. You can ship any character with anyone since no one (except Kuya maybe) is problematic.

Lastly, if you notice people fighting over ships, just don't give it any attention. Don't attempt "damage control" because you'll only make things worse. There's always going to be rebellious teenagers in fandoms. You can't get rid of all of them.
