So about week or so ago I got invited to join the Freemasons, why should I join, what benefits are there? Im 18 if that helps at all

I might wear something with my lodge logo on it or keep a branded mug at my desk. I never would tell someone I’m a mason who didn’t specifically ask though.

There’s some grey area. If someone asks what I’m doing after work I’ll tell them I’m going to lodge. 9/10 they’ll eventually ask if I’m a mason.

Sometimes they don’t follow up and ask for months, and usually they’ve googled masonry and have questions when they come back. And they almost always appreciate that it’s something you’re passionate about that isn’t crammed down their throats.

It’s not the only way, I’m not criticizing you or anything like that. I really think those months are a formative time for that person’s relationship with Masonry.
