I absolutely lost it in Costco today...

The economy is on the verge of shutdown and you idiots are still bitching at people actually preparing for this. If you truly believe what you're saying, the store is the asshole for not imposing stock limits and instead trying to maximize sales by encouraging large orders. People exercising their right to buy a 1-2 month personal supply of goods are 100% not an asshole, and trying to compare them to the people running price gouging shops just shows how irrational you are being.

TL;DR Hoarding is only bad if you are A) Bypassing rules to do so B) Buying not for yourself, but to resell (aka the truck of TP/lysol people) and C) If you are being literally insane about it (i.e emptying a grocery store aisle out because you want a years supply of something).

People filling a cart with a large assortment of different items are in all likelihood are trying to build a short term supply for their home should they become sick and delivery is unavailable/strained. The people bitching about this need to go out and read the children's story about the Grasshopper and the Ant for a real life lesson
