I didn't share some details for personal privacy and because it starts to stray from the topic of chickens quite a bit and I didn't want to get all weird on a sub I'm not even a member of but... eh, yeah, Basically my situation is complicated as such that I'm not actually 100% confident I wouldn't end up homeless over this. I was made aware before I let them out that I am the only person who thinks the treatment of the animals is a problem, and that my having a problem with it is itself the problem that needs to be addressed. So I'll absolutely still be doing what I can to step in and protect, but it might have to look different than maybe I might also like it to look as well because if I get made gone over this, then NOBODY is here to help at all.

... also, I'd be homeless too so.... Ehem. Not... great. But hey! Good news is there'd be all that open land the chickens aren't using that maybe I could camp in for a while? With the rats? Ha...ha....ha?
