ABVV rejects government proposal for pension reforms.

So what you're saying is that in a democracy people should strike at the slightest notion of change?

No. And that's not what's happening. You're making a caricature out of a pretty nuanced situation.

But seriously what the unions are doing is: Do what we say or we strike -> damage to economy -> less jobs, worse deficit -> less chance on re-election for the ruling parties -> government cries in a corner.

You are severely oversimplifying matters. Like. Seriously. Immensely. Reality isn't that simple.

It pisses me off that a minority of people is pushing legislation down or throat.

Really? It does? At least the unions represent over 50% of the working population. That can hardly be said about UNIZO/VOKA/VBO... And a democracy isn't supposed to be a dictatorship by the "marjority' without the representatives ever listening to any arguments ever. That's be kinda insane.

I mean how many people think it's fair that some people can retire early with tax money..., let alone not having to apply for a job.

Here's an idea. Let's have this discussion when there are enough jobs for these people. No, let's have this discussion when there are enough jobs for the current unemployed people. Or hell, half of 'em.

Too bad you'll never see the people who don't think like the unions come in the streets, since well you know, they have better things to do.

You have a thoroughly inexact view on how things work and not only that, you dehumanize people as a matter of habit. So this tells me you're not at all interested in learning anything or having a constructive discussion and that you're just here to blow off some steam. No problem.

Here's an idea as to how you can do that.

Press Win+R, type in "notepad.exe" (without the "") and hit Enter. Type away.

Just a suggestion, for all I care you can continue to blow off steam here.
