Academia, Healthcare, Neuroscience, Culture, and Corruption

I think I know the concept but lack the name or can't think of the name in certain spots, so I just put a blank.

The psychiatry _____The healthcare _____

...military industrial complex? ;) I know you're asking a serious question, but the humor here is palpable for me. However I'm semi-serious; these disciplines, services and industries have become weaponised and commodified, besides other matters in the mix.

Maybe a political movement or group I haven't heard of (e.g. anti-psychiatry)? Maybe multiple ones? Is it all connected (possibly excluding the academia problem) by an entity, program, bill, act (act as in Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act), or something like that?

The situation is very complex and entangled, so yep, all of that, and yes, all connected. And multiple movements and ideologies, thrashing around, incommensurable, opposed, opposites, straining, pulling, testing, in varying degrees of tension and conflict, projection, repression, oppression, ... all of that.

I sense some frustration, exasperation, in your words (? maybe I am misreading that. Tone is often unclear in this space), of holding something complex in awareness but not knowing how to locate it, or ground it, as a totality? Not knowing what to do with that awareness?
