Let me explain.
You may have missed it, but i previously made a distinction between when a fur coat can be seen as a necessity and when it's not.
in a case where it is unnecessary, as in when it's done not for survival, but for fun, because it's 'nice' and 'fancy'.
in that context an animal is put through a bad experience because the human thinks the outcome is nice.
And it is the exact same context when it's killing an animal.
If we try to draw a difference between the 2 it becomes not about harming the individual, but rather about a feeling or a principle, so it's about perspective.
In this case it's about the idea 'of beating an animal death for fun' as opposed to the idea of 'reducing cruelty to others'.
