Accessibility of Dutch hospitals by means of transport within 30 minutes

the original source is not only about hospitals. The researchers also looked into the availability of gp's, schools, supermarkets and jobs.

Nobody will be using public transport if they either have to wait for a couple of hours, be in a bus for a couple of hours, have to book a ride in advance (or even more rides via several booking systems) if a car ride wil be 15-30 minutes. Especially if that happens daily because you have to go to work or school.

It is very simple (and sad)... If you live outside a larger city in the Netherlands, it's getting more difficult to live without a car. And even within cities not every neighbourhood has adequate public transit.
