Accidental assholes of Reddit, what's the most offensive thing you've unintentionally said or done?

I'm like 14~ at the time of this. There's this really annoying girl at my school and at the time she's the girlfriend of my one of my friends. (although he just played Minecraft alpha with me at the time instead of spending time with her).

So anyway she's like super upset and being all sad and shit and she's clearly doing this to get attention, she keeps going "hmpphhhh" then sighing louder and louder until people acknowledge her. So I go "Did one of your family members or close friends die".

Then she's like "what... the.. actual... fuck.. you" (pausing between each word). I then move two seats over and continue eating my cheese and tomato roll in peace.

The next day she's talking about me and saying what an asshole I am and then they're like this fucking mob of people crowding round me. She walks up to me with a picture and says "do you know who this is?" looking pissed but not like real anger like kinda forced anger.

So I'm like "No, of course not" while eating my blt with no lettuce. So she's goes "it's my brother you asshole and he died". Then for some reason I celebrate like "holy shit, I was right?". Everyone around me is kinda surprised by response I guess expecting me to be remorseful or something.

I get interested in my accomplishment of somehow guessing she had a dead family member so I do research and stuff, using facebook and shit. It turns out her brother isn't dead and just lives in Canada. I tell my friend who leaves her and tells everyone he can, and then she moves during the Easter Holiday school.

holy shit I wrote a lot more than usual.

tl;dr Some girl calls me an asshole for asking if one of her family members died because her brother actually did, then it turns out he didn't and she was lying, then she moves school.
