Actually I have been to prison.. didn't just read a spooky article on the internet. 6 months and a felony record vs. 100k? Pay the 100k everytime, you'll be ahead financially in a couple years and your record is fine. But then throw in 500$ a month for years? In that case I'll just take the time, thanks. Having been hosted in several states fine institutions for just under a year (for a nonviolent drug trafficking charge in my idiotic youth) - you're just fine if you're not a total rube and have a half ounce of sense. Jail and prison used to be scary in the 80's and 90's, not so much anymore unless things have changed drastically since the early 2000s.
