According to my sister, *I* am what is wrong with the United States.

The fact is Christianity is intertwined with this nations birth and it always will be

you cannot change history

You really don't know much about our history then.

"In God we Trust" used to not be on our paper money. As far back as the mid 50s, we're not even talking civil war times here.

And also, what the fuck do you mean, "change history"? Even if US currency always had been labeled this way, what about history magically prevents its change?

I mean, I know why you don't want it to change, because you're a Christian and it's a Christian thing. Self interest. That's obvious. It has nothing to do with history. If it did, then what you've said would have mattered back in 1957, and "God We Trust" would have never been added to it.

SO now that you know it wasn't, are you gonna agree it should be taken off? Or are you gonna say the 1950s were a time history was made, and nothing should change after this time?

History does not set our future. Change, is good. Face it, gays are getting married now, money is next champ. Get ready.
