Is ACOTAR worth the read?

I enjoyed them. Read them and form your own opinions. Teenage girls on the internet tend to get absorbed into the hive mind of hate and make big deals out of issues that aren't really there. They can't seem to understand that characters in a fantasy world don't think, react and behave like a teenager in the western real world will. So they get upset that characters don't do what they would in certain situations.

It's fantasy. It's fiction. It's fun.

Remember, these books are NOT Young Adult. They are for older audiences so will contain things that younger people will feel uncomfortable with. However, SJM tends to be a surface writer, she never goes too deeply into issues and skims the surface. So all of these opinions about it being problematic are people digging too far to find issues to complain about and need to grow up and touch grass.

The book is an easy read, the characters are fine. It's fun fantasy.
