My thoughts on why I like Fallout 3 and NV more than 4 is simple; it's more gritty, real and visceral. Hope is dead, characters and plotlines are more raw, and there are no real good guys. The combat is more violent imo. Visually and aesthetically the NV and Fo3 feel like a nuclear wasteland, and the people do not look like claymation.

Plus the writing is just.. better. It just is. The voice acting and casting too. Dialogue is fresh and actually engaging/fun. Plus obvious shit like more (and more genuine) dialogue options and having a game that includes NPCs (fallout 76 didn't have any NPCs what the fuck?).

Just make a fallout game that resembles The Road and Mad Max more than it resembles Fortnite and we're good.
