Actions speak louder than words... And sometimes they scream

The travel ban was bad on several fronts, 1 it can be used as a recruiting tool by radical/extremists, 2 it has a chilling effect on relations with allies 3 makes it harder to encourage trade/travel/tourism for fear of denied entry (economic impact). Also, it's been deemed unconstitutional anyhow. So it didn't "stick", that's what's called an executive overreach rectified by judicial review. So, ultimately that was the worst possible >> idiotic << move to make. It pleased other idiots who thought he was getting tough on immigration.

The recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was a molotov cocktail, and it completely ignored the wishes of American Jewish citizens. It was a dogwhistle for dominionists and played out exactly how those idiots wanted it to. It enraged people that were already pretty angry at the US. Pissing in the face of your enemies only makes things worse... so, another bold idiotic move.

Others have commented on how the Paris Climate Accord was voluntary. Withdrawing from it means America will no long play a vital role in setting higher and higher standards for the future. Other nations will take the lead and manipulate their way into better economic positions. It's like buying high and selling low, when it comes to deals that would greatly benefit staying involved and informed. It's also a signal to polluters and would-be businesses involved in green tech, that their efforts will be wasted or hindered by this administration... economic hit, and loss of jobs will follow (as it turns out the solar sector is feeling this impact now). It was a sector poised to be the next industrial revolution, and he may have killed it with this move.

See. Three totally fucking idiotic moves.
