Active shooter in Oregon District

I don't disagree, but if it were effective and a real concern (which it probably is) it wouldn't be so sloppy, careless, and easy to point out-like a person reading Oregon, assuming it's the state, and going on a short rant about some political view they have.

That's part of the danger, right? Having all control taken so you can't even discuss another viewpoint or correct a relatively minor error without writing someone off as a troll, bot, and so on.

I don't agree at all with Rantguy™ (which is sad that I even have to express, lest my opinion be completely ignored and written off) but it's getting out of hand. People disagree, some are bigoted (not just racially), and all evidence points to healthy discussion, understanding, and compassion being they way out of that hole-not screaming "Nazi," 'bot,"" Russian troll," etc.

I mean, really, was that meant to provide some sort of solution, be the higher road, or win someone to your side?

"Hey man, this occurred in the state of Ohio, not Oregon. Sometimes confirmation bias can get the best of us; I know it happens to me. Where did you get the info on shootings, I'd love to read more about it."

Done.
