A lot of those symptoms seem pretty subjective. We have had cases of mass hysteria where people literally dance to death, and of course, correlation does not equal causation. The one thing that sticks out is the permanent heart and lung damage, because that is readily observable, but they do not describe which kind of person gets that. I have a hard time believing a young healthy person, who often time will not even develop a cough, is going to develop permanent lung damage. I imagine it would need to be a rather severe case for that to happen.

If you are old or at risk, by all means get the vaccine. It is all a matter of risk. If you are likely to get a severe case, take the vaccine, because the risk of the vaccine is less than the virus, but if you are likely to have minor symptoms (in some cases even no symptoms) and develop natural immunity after, I still do not see why you would bother.
