I am not interested in a political argument at the moment. There is a blizzard here, and I am just wasting time on my phone before I go out again.

That said, the public is not being told the truth. Plain and simple. What we should all be concerned about is the manipulation of the news for monetary reasons. I didn't vote for Trump, but my brother did. We still spend time together and speak respectfully. We also enjoy time together that is completely unrelated to politics.

All I want to see between people are non-hostile discussions. It's a shame reddit, and the internet in general, is so polarized. I do appreciate that you took your time to respond without directly insulting me. I would have requested a source if I saw unsourced claims that favored my political beliefs, too.
