Sorry to say, but you are brainwashed. In the real world resources are limited, you can't help everybody. There are millions of syrians and millions of africans and about a billion indians who live in shit conditions,maybe worse than us, Should we "divert money" to help all of them ?

You(you specifically) and people who have it good can afford these kinds of musings and philosophies... Syrians are not worth just as much as any person in Europe. On a philosophical level, sure, we are all equal, but Europeans have a huge investment in our countries. My grandparends,and their grandparents helped to build this country, some actually died for it.

I am worth the same as a syrian,and an indian and so on on a moral level, but I am worth a lot more for this country as a romanian citysen with hundreds of years of history,the neibouring countries and the European union ( union, get it ? )

Also, do you put your money when your word is ? Or are we just discussing theories ?

I can put you in contact with my grandmother, in the winter she spends 30% of her income on gas so she doesn't freeze to death, my other grandmother just got cancer and had to bribe just about every doctor ( that, or just die...this is how things work in Romania) Now she is bald,depressed and suicidal. Nut just about the cancer and the pain, but about the complete disregard this country has for her after a life long sacrifice and commitement.160 Euro for each of them each month would give would make things a lot easier, no more going buying only stuff that are on sale ( or stuff that expire in a few days, those are cheaper)

These are only some of the stories, closest to my heart, there are millions more. So yes,in these circumstances I don't have your luxury of caring about syrians...
