Here's the actual reason why there are so few straight male escorts.

I have no idea what your point is here. The market for male prostitutes is a fraction for what it is for female prostitutes. For obvious reasons everyone understands. I have no idea why you believe Troy’s story to be relevant to this discussion. It changes nothing.

Why don't you think in terms of actual quantities?

With me, I'm thinking like "Ok, so one guy tried a novel approach and it is working. In Thailand, a lot of guys try this approach and it works for a lot of guys. Why do we only have one man doing this? How big is this market? If 100 guys tried Troys approach, would the market grow to 100?"

You're like, "Well, the market should be smaller and it's smaller. The end."

You have no concept of there being many different potential market sizes that are all smaller than the market for female escorting. You're just like, "Oh, some number that's smaller? Well, I guess this is as good as any other number that's smaller. One dude, ten thousand dudes, one hundred thousand dudes, whatever. It's all the same. Smaller market = smaller market."

No you referenced Thai “bar boys” which again have nothing to do with why there are no male prostitutes.

Why don't they? They have the exact same business model in Thailand that Troy has going on in America. They pull it off and make more money than their female counterparts do. Why wouldn't this be a thing in America? And if it just couldn't be a thing because there's no demand, why is Troy able to pull it off successfully?

Your answer seems to get no better or more in depth than, "What does a Thai business model have to do with the same business model, but in America?"
