Actual title - my mom wants to terminate her parental rights because I don't want to have an abortion

I was 16 when I had my daughter, and she is a couple of months off turning 16 now. If she came home pregnant, I’d be telling her to get an abortion. I love my kid, but for the first 5 years of her life, times were fucking hard. I’m lucky that her dad and I stayed together, and he was able to start an apprenticeship a few months after she was born, but my mum helped us so much. We lived there until I was 19 and could afford a house of our own, mum bought everything we needed for the baby until I was able to get my Centrelink (which is welfare) payments sorted.

I don’t blame the woman for trying to convince the kid to abort, being a teen parent is hard, and it stays hard for a long fucking time.
