64 audio 18s are at the top of the ranking. I am being unfair by leaving them out of comparison where they are really good, such as in the mids/ treble. I also don't mention the overall tonality, etc. t800s color the frequency response quite a bit and the treble is extended with some odd peaks. It is not fucked like in the KZ, TRN, etc. I really don't see how anyone could like those earphones. Anyway the tonality of t800 takes a little getting used to. Whereas tia18 or the ie800 have a very natural tonality. Sort of like the hd600s but with some very fun (ie800) / mature(tia18) coloration. So, I am heavily biased towards the ie800. For years I thought my multiple-BA-drivers-per-earpiece ultimate ears would completely smash the 1 single dynamic driver of the ie800, but I was so wrong. The tonality of the ie800 is just superb. The bass is visceral and the treble/mid are very enjoyable. tia18 are technically superior is every way but just less fun/musical in electronic/bassy/etc music. Sometimes you just wanna have fun. The t800 are fun in their own way, with coloration in the bass and treble, but the tonality is not true to the original recording like in the ie800/hd660s.

You can get the hd6XX from massdrop for a good price. But If you want iem a used ie800 may get you further than a mid-fi, for a lot less.

That being said and done. Here is something offensive. The tonality of ikko OH10 is not too my liking. The treble would sound anemic to me. My friend owns one so I had them for a week to evaluate.
