Adderall 20mg XR not working?

This is your truest false statement

What the fuck does that mean? How can it be true and false? User name is appropriate?

Actually, increased oral bioavailability over sublingual means the exact opposite. The drug is more powerful when swallowed than when dissolved sublingually. Under the tongue would hit harder and faster, but last a lot less longer, so the "area under the curve" so to speak is less.

Uhhh, no. While the sublingual dosage with certainly get into the blood faster, the main reason it increases bioavailability is because of first pass metabolism. A lot of the amphetamine gets metabolized by the liver before it ever reaches systemic circulation.

This is not how XR works. It's not a magical formula that comes even close to a constant release of 1mg per hour. Not even close.

I didn't say it was a constant rate of release.

So many fundamental misunderstandings of chemistry and biology.

I'm a literal pharmacologist. I study drugs for a living. Not to mention I used amphetamine to get through much of my schooling. Cite your sources or pound sand. "Are under the curve" but doesn't know about first pass metabolism." Back to school 'youngin.
