Adderall Appreciation Thread

Yeah dude, totally like the drug in Limitless-- they definitely nailed it, especially the part where he's a miserable wreck, sweating bullets, and completely unable to function as a human being when he runs out.

But really man, not to rain on your parade but that first one after a tolerance break does always feel amazing. Unfortunately it doesn't really stick around. Next thing you know you're short 2 weeks on your prescription and even if you had some to take you'd be a lethargic, anxious, and half-retarded from abusing it.

I have ADD-PI and an actual script as well. I try pretty hard to hold to the schedule, but it's tough if you have an addictive personality. Amphetamines are sweet, both in their therapeutic and recreational uses, but damn I kind of wish I didn't rely on this shit. It sucks to have to take a pill to be be motivated to do even the smallest of tasks, and in a way I wish I'd never even felt that euphoria and push from dosing higher.

Out of all the substances I've cycled through, it's probably done the most damage mentally and physically. I've been putting off a physical with my PCP for like over a year because I'm afraid my hearts gonna be screwed up, and god only knows what else.

If you really do have ADD, don't abuse your script too often. You're gonna fuck your tolerance and you can kiss the therapeutic effects goodbye.

P.S., I wouldn't bother snorting it - the drip from the binders is gross and you'll be picking multicolored snot and blood out of your nose for days after. If you're going to take it, stick to oral and eat a drink a teaspoon of baking soda in water (alternatively take some Tums). Not only is this arguably the most effect ROA, but the Baking Soda / Tums trick potentiates the effects. You should take some chelated magnesium supplements as well.

Anyways, have fun. I know the feeling.

Source: I've done a lot of stimulants for a long time, and have gone through many Rx's far too fast.
