Adding a mod to /r/Bedbugs, decided by the community. If you want to be a mod, say why you want to be a mod. Otherwise, please vote up individuals that you want to mod. This post will be up for at least a week.

For detection, not control. Big difference.

it's clear that I should have given the mod team a heads up, and I apologize for not doing that.

Would have helped, one minute we were enjoying a huge hit traffic spike from /r/Frugal, the next thing that post there is deleted and your here asking for new mods, removing the stickie guide.

Sorry, but your lack of involvement here for a long time (that we knew about), the lack of communication, your sudden appearance and due to the coincidence of the two events...

Heck, we don't even know you that's how incognito you have been.

Plus it was like you didn't really cared what we thought asking for more mods we didn't need. If we needed more mods we could have asked or PMed someone who was helping here already or asked on NeedAMod.

It really seemed like you wanted to bust things up around here for some unknown reason. I pulled the content to save your bacon less we made a mistake, which is always possible.

I knew that pirates wouldn't be thrilled about the idea of letting the community choose mods.

So you knew that? Didn't PM me about it first to check before getting all strong armed?

I have no problem appointing new mods, just nobody has been here assisting or PMed wanting to be one. Plus we didn't need any more.

If someone was here that knew more about me on the subject, I would have differed to their superior experience and learned off them, made them a mod right off.

I think that the best way to deal with a stupid comment is to downvote and reply.

Stupid comments yes, stupid and dangerous comments get people harmed or killed.

Reading stupid comments is also a guilty pleasure of mine.

I'll be sure to pass that to corporate legal if someone gets killed around here.

I don't think that anyone here is going to dump gas on their bed and set it on fire because someone makes a bad comment.

You obviously haven't lived through a bedbug infestation.

You should have done a little Googling before making that comment.
