ADHD and acne scars

Hey mate. Long story short: I’m 38 now... grew up in high school with savage acne and scarring. I looked hideous... This caused a lot of anxiety and pain which I hid well. Got on accutane which cleared up the acne but left with scars which I would worry about daily. Had shot confidence and sucked with women as a result. Then I started to stop thinking about it and poured myself (with undiagnosed ADHD) into getting better socialising and dating... to which I learned that NOBODY CARES about your acne scars. They don’t even notice it. As long as you take care of yourself physically (workout but not obsessive) and eat well, groom well and dress well than you’re FINE. I’m a very average looking guy too... Anyway fast forward to now: I’ve got a 10/10 wife after many failed relationships (due to my adhd and inability to cope with boredom)... I also managed to turn myself into a millionaire by creating an online business over a decade ago. It’s been a crazy struggle though and ups and downs but I finally got diagnosed last week and started meds yesterday. Anyway to my point: 1. Create a vision for yourself and what you want. Who you are now (scars and all) doesn’t have to be who you are in 6 months 2. Nobody cares or is looking at your scars or thinking about you as much as you think so get over it! 3. Instead, Invest your energy in becoming better... Physically, financially, etc... This will make you a more capable and confident person in the world and therefore attractive to the opposite sex despite your shortcomings. Trust me mate. You can be, do and have anything you want. I’ve come from pizza face loser to buying my mom and dad a house and landing a hot wife who I love (after years of dating). Also on the dating/life thing: you will experience rejection. A LOT of rejection. From loser women too. It’s a straight up numbers game. You’ll meet the right one. Anyway I’ll leave you with one of my fav quotes: “what you seek is seeking you” -Rumi
