ADHD and social awareness?

This sounds exactly like something I would do and chances are that I have on more than one occasion. I’ve lived with ADHD my entire life and I’ve ruined more friendships/relationships than I care to count. Even after my diagnosis I didn’t think much about it. I just thought it meant I had a short attention span. It wasn’t until after I started digging when I learned just how differently someone with ADHD is wired compared to someone who is “normal.” It’s a genetic alteration that is extremely misunderstood and is much more than many of us realize. I highly suggest searching for “How to ADHD” on YouTube. It’s an entire channel dedicated to helping both those living with ADHD and those who have loved ones with ADHD. It’s a fantastic source of information and is definitely worth looking into if you plan on continuing your relationship together. Good Luck!
