Adults of Reddit, what is something you really regret doing as a teenager?

Regret getting my ex out of debt, only to have him dump me as soon as he was in the clear and to never repay a cent. Left me without a penny and had to start from scratch all over again. To give you an idea I was working in retail earning $400 a week I paid a $150 a week in rent, groceries, fuel and paid for any luxuries for example if we went out for dinner, he'd just blow his earnings on games and whatever he wanted. I paid out roughly $5,000 from my own savings to bills that he owed to various companies ie utilities, credit cards, etc. To an 18 year old working in retail that was a lot of money to fork out and never see again. I admit I as incredibly young and stupid though I can honestly say I've learnt my lesson. On the plus side though the loser came crawling back 3 years after saying what a huge mistake he made and wanted me back and I told him straight out no and didn't want anything to do with him. A week later I went on a date and now I'm happily engaged to the love of my life, we have a beautiful fur baby and are enjoying life to its fullest.
