Advice for everyone who's transferring from OSRS to RS3

I guess part of the problem is when you have played so many "active" games in the best - myself, first pampered with WoW, then DotA - the design in those games is so good that playing RuneScape EoC feels like lackluster and you know, very outdated and, I don't want to outright bash anyone who designed it, but maybe it's just not on the level that these other games are.

Like in DotA, each action you do feels meaningful and impactful. And if you compare it to other MMOs - well, the MMO I've played most, WoW - it loses by far.

Part of the reason for this probably is, that everyone is the same class and uses the same rotations, whereas in WoW you have over 10 classes, each with 3 distinct spec and playstyles(not all are DPS of course, but you get the point).

That said, im sure that for an OSRS player who hasn't played games like WoW, RS3 combat should feel like an update. I personally love the balanced weapons aspect of EoC, even though I feel that tier-scape has been done too much of an extreme there, similar to other MMO's. But I can see the appeal of it for those who never tried any other MMO's.
