Advice for my first real world meeting?

I would suggest linking with investors, or supporters who have literally been in the trenches before, who have built great companies and brought to market amazing innovative products that millions still use today. not a one hit wonder, a has been, or a big Corp that sucks at innovation. Google and Amazon are the only successful tech companies, the rest are mediocre to shit at best and I wouldn't trust them to properly innovate anything of significant value.

look at it this way. this kid is saying XYZ Big Corp couldn't figure out how to solve a simple problem that literally kids could solve. now they're going to guide these kids on how to turn the product into something magnificent. the blind leading the blind. it has failure written all over it. which is OK too, there's more valor in failure than success.
