So... Only one of those 'gurus' is a male. Pass.
This is the fish and the bait all over again: You do not ask the fish the best way to bait it - you ask a great fisherman. When you ask a woman about what women like, what attracts women, what women feel, she can and will only respond to you in the context of what she likes, what attracts her, what she feels. If one happens to be considered a 'guru' on fashion, that's only because her opinions are so boring that she actually represents the consensus of women - and you can tell in this very article. What do you think, Samantha McMillan? "I’m not a huge fan of [roll necks]. If it’s really your thing, then go for an old-school style with a grey flannel jacket [over the top] and dark jeans." Jeans and a t-shirt, huh? Guru quality advice. Outstanding.
Anyway, enough circlejerking, here's what I got. All of those 'gurus' talk about whats trendy, they use words like 'classical' and 'season' like fashion is some unknown force that we all just flow along with - Except Mark, the lone male:
"To look stylish, don’t be tempted by current trends,” says Bradley. “Unless you can utilise it to suit yourself, ensure you always dress for your body shape instead."
He elaborates a bit more and offers the only useful advice in the whole article: Dress to fit, care about grooming, and wear nicer shoes.
