Advice on breaking up

Thanks. My finances are separate (luckily) and I've started looking at alternate places to live.

I already told him I "think" I'm trans and got put down/told I'm mistaken/etc. He also said he isn't going to encourage me to do something I could just as easily not do that will wreck the relationship. It's fair. I would NOT be doing the same thing if it was me, but I can see why he's doing it.

Oddly enough this wouldn't affect my work situation much. I work with mostly men so they'd be fine with it, based on comments they've made about trans ftm. Of course you never really know until you're in it and doing it, but that's not the real problem. It's more that I'm not sure that doctors will believe me. I'm stereotypically pretty, I act "sweet" because I was raised very conservative/restricted, I look 100% female and in the past, counselors have just given me the whole "it's OK to be a tomboy" lecture which gets ridiculous to hear when you're in your late 30s and know damn well that it's more than that.
