Advice on Disturbing Fetishes

Is this fetish something healthy, extending value and meaning in your life or is this desire unhealthy and distancing you from the value and meaning you care for? To me, (with very little detail to reference) I'd still say this is unhealthy behavior and something you need to let go of. How this came to be and why will help you move on but you need to reflect a lot more on who you are and what ideal you want. Its very immature to think that this behavior will be static and not grow/shift the more you normalize it, you know deep down thats not true, we all do. Lastly, unhealthy behavior is basically never about the actual narrative you place focus on. The narrative, or in this case 'medical fetish' is just the vehicle you need to address something you wont move past. Its like a self defense mechanism of sorts due to the loss of control your sub/conscious feels. We tend to develop these issues from something far more fundamental in our pasts that was never confronted, accepted or let go of... We all have these sort of problems in varying degrees of course. Without honest reflection, these (varying) traumas will surface and take ownership away from who you are and want to be. Place your focus on whats really going on is all I hope to get across. You arent a freak, you've just ignored parts of yourself for too long and now you're seeing something in yourself you know isn't you... I took a bit of a jump here and said way more than necessary but I really hope you get why I said all of this.
