Advice on housing and discrimination, Scotland

Thank you very much again, I appreciate your time and patience.

Why exactly shouldn't it be in front of your home?

It was in a different location previously away from residential buildings, there is a large open spot where it stood before with easy 360 degree surveillance, lighting, bins, and surrounded by a green area which was more than 20+ meters away from where it is now. I believe they took the roofed old shelter down due to graffiti, holes in it and wear. The new bus stop in front of the bloc's main door has reduced surveillance as the building is in the way, no bins, and no lighting. There was no consultation or planning permission to move it, and it has caused an increase in noise/litter/danger for residents.

I am no longer on HB, however the way they handled it at the time has added to my frustration and current feeling that they are not listening and dont care.

I disagree with your premise about how they're conducting themselves, I still feel the HA treats myself less favourably than HA treats, or would treat other people because I have a protected characteristic.

I believe the The Equality Act 2010 provides protections for myself and others in this situation.

An example could be constant reiterating they didn't want to give me the flat in the first place, which is blaming my MH and disability for the complaint, as if someone who didn't have these issues would be fine - when I contacted them about noisy neighbours who I believe they were not truthful about.

Thank you again for your time and advice, your insight into neighbours/viewing is especially helpful. I will take it on board and also pursue the procedures you've suggested as well.
