The Aespa concept photos are really disturbing

I'd like to hear from someone with an eating disorder if stylized art like Winx or Monster High actually have any influence in the way they feel personally.

I feel that actual problem has always been pushing body idealism explicitly. To me it's unrelated to cartoons, and more to do with body idealism itself on media and on culture.

In meanspo or other harmful "motivation" for weigh loss is generally shown the image of an overly skinny real girl. As someone who struggles with wigh, As a kid those cartoons never evoked that idea.

Plus, using a miniskirt is not objectifying. The avatar did not feel sexual to me. So I don't get where the objetification part came from, since the avatar itself is...already an object. Obviously the avatar is not Karina, but meant to be an alter ego of some sort.

What disturbs me is that you started comparing Winter to the AI doll. This never occured to me, as it would be like comparing a person too surrealist art. It's nonsensical. If a person prone to telling someone's flaws based off an purposely unrealistic drawing, then I feel like that's a problem.

The legth of the skirt and the safety shorts the members were actually wearing did bother me. You can se a part of Karina's butt in the MV and that's not ok.
