How do you know all of those people got the message two weeks ago? And even if they did, don’t you think two weeks is a pretty short amount of time to have people completely uproot their lives?

Those people knew the US was leaving Afghanistan for what? Almost a full year? Do they need more of a heads up than that?

There is no justification for the rapidness and disorganization of this withdrawal.

EU nations are bragging about it, US Special Forces have been on the ground all week, they aren't posting it online. You can pull up FlightRadar24 and there have been Special Forces Communications planes circling Kabul for the last 24 hours and there is reports of other special forces on the ground.

It is a death sentence for any of our people who remain their after the 30th (and likely before that date as well).

This is ignorant, there were American citizens in Afghanistan during the last Taliban occupation as well.
