Afghans who helped the US now fear being left behind

That's not what equality is at all, in fact it's nakedly authoritarian and anti-democracy. What good is a Democracy if people are morally pressured to only have certain opinions based on their social position?

What good is a democracy where your wealth buys you better social positions where your opinion matters more? Like, say, keeping a war going that other people die for in your stead. That's special interest taking precedent over public concern.

Should all of our congressmen have been former Frontline soldiers in order unlock the right vote on a bill to declare war?

It certainly would change a lot of the eagerness to invade and kill people if the persons responsible had to dirty their own hands. The afghan war would have been over long ago.

Your whole image of me is completely mistaken.

Lol you've checked every box so far, from the flair, to the politics, to the last minute concern for people whose plight you said nothing about for two decades until the ″party″ was coming to an end.
