AFL to hunt down trolls who tried to take down Carlton AFLW star Tayla Harris

I am certainly saying random bozos making random comments about public figures DON'T matter much - it's totally absurd, if there was a massive storm happened everytime someone said something of the lines of, "nice XXX, I'd love to YYY that!" all Australian policeforces would be continuously chasing 22 year old men just back from the construction site, and courts would be doing nothing but granting search warrants for young men's (and women, but less so, probably, I reckon) smartphones and computers - all so they can be charged for some silly made up crime that makes virtually everything and everyone in Australia a criminal like "using a carriage service to cause offence". I cause offence daily without a carriage service, I don't see why some guy who uses the internet to write something stupid is more of a criminal than me.

This is a stupid storm in a teacup, and yes public figures will get public comments they don't like - you can't make a goddamn law to stop that or create "grassroots social change" to stop it. You can, however, in a man-hating culture, use it as another - albeit petty and kind of ridiculous - club to hit men over the head with to say, "look, see how bad men are!". AND THAT LAST THING IS THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS NONSENSE.
