AFL MEMBERS VOTING RIGHTS(?)

I assume their reasons for it are similar to why we don't have a similar system with voting in parliament.

Imagine if there was a email sent out to every australian every time the government wanted to change something it wouldn't work.

But if they did an end of year survey to all the members with a few key points like you raise that could work quite well.

I think right now they are stuck in an echo chamber and no one from the outside can get in. Listening to the people watching the game is essential but they just don't seem interested they are running it too much like a business and trying to find imaginary growth in different areas, not realising they are hurting the core audience that is already a rapidly expanding one.
