sorry to rain on your parade, but cheetahs are the weakest of big cats, and are going to be about half the weight of the human it's attacking. it might slash me, but a kick or punch to one of it's legs will send it off running. now if you factor in the adrenaline that'll be pumping through your body, you won't feel the shallow cut across your arm and one blow to the cheetah could be life threatening (it starts limping for a few days = it can't hunt).

and if you notice a cheetah attacks by attacking the rear of the animal, if you don't let it get behind you and just show that you are going to fight back, it probably won't even come at you. they thriving on getting their prey to run away and attacking their back legs.
