Okay so, I did the best that I could to get a VPN for you that is free.

Best I could find VyprVPN which has a trial version. The paid version I know is trusted and is a competitor to the VPN I use Private Internet Access or PIA.

MEGA WARNING: FAILING TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS MAY RARELY RESULT IN A DELETION OF YOUR ACCOUNT AS PER STEAM USER AGREEMENT. YOU WILL ONLY BE CAUGHT IF YOU CHANGE IP/USE VPN WHILE ONLINE AND HAVE STEAM OPEN.

Also it would be best to do these steps an hour or two before release.

STEP ONE

Download the VPN

STEP TWO

Run through the setup and install to your liking.

STEP 3

Before activating the VPN ensure that you put steam into offline mode and logged off and quit steam. Just to be sure.

STEP 4

Activate the VPN to the region you desire. (In this case New Zealand).

IT IS NOW 16 HOURS BEFORE 12AM NORTH AMERICAN EASTERN

STEP 5

Open steam in offline mode.

STEP E ^{because fuck 6 it killed my family.}

Open steam and allow the download/unencryption of Fallout 4 to complete.

STEP 6

Ensure the game is working by launching it. But don't actually play yet, offline mode doesn't store time played or achievements.

STEP 7

Go back into online mode but leave your friends list status as offline. (Assholes may want to report you because fuck them).

STEP 8

Play fallout as a New Zealander until actual launch time.

STEP 10 ^{because 7 ate 9...}

I will also once again warn you it is slightly possible that steam bans you in VERY rare cases but as long as you run the VPN the entire time and turn it off the SAME way you turned it on you'll be fine. Steps below. I did this for Skyrim and it will work here too.

Steam in offline mode

Close steam.

Turn off Vpn/Uninstall.

Relaunch steam.

Play.
