After speaking to CNN about Palestinians being forced from their homes, IDF forces him from his home

The house is taken by the Israeli government and they do what they want with it. Put a Israeli Jewish family in it, build something else on it, leave it vacant all kinds of shit to expand the Jewish territory. Sometimes they just do it because they can.

I know some people have been looking for more information on this part to understand why the Palestinians have been in an intense conflict for so long. Here is a news report from Al-Jazeera from 4 years ago. I know they are technically a government sponsored program, so here is a docuseries from Vice News about the Israeli settlements going up in the West Bank) I remember watching a long time ago, and it was a good watch.

I understand Vice's methods of investigative journalism have changed over the years, but between the two reports you can get a pretty clear picture. And I hope it helps at least a little. I pretty-much wrote a book. Wasn't intentional, and I'm sorry about that. And with that said...

It's been awhile since I've watched these, or got any updates on the situation over there, so please forgive me if my take on it has some errors/exaggerated. Israeli settlements have been going up in the West Bank at an accelerated rate over the years. One of their justifications for this is due to the terrorist group Hamas, which is located in the West Bank. And this terrorist group has created a significant amount of death and destruction over the years, there is no denying that. Hamas usually claims it is retaliation for something Israel did recently. So Israel feels justified in performing more or less a "forced occupation" in order to root out Hamas in ways Israeli leaders feel will be successful. And I would think the settlements as a means to demoralize and stir-up those in hiding to retaliate, proving the tactics behind Netanyahu's transparently violent agenda (which I strongly disagree with) is a justified cause.

Israel has previously gone into Palestinian settlements and destroyed Homes. In which they dispute the land claims of the Palestinians who have built settlements there (with no proof of their own), and regardless if the homeowners were literally holding up the deed to that land in the face of the soldier in charge. That issues orders to the other Israeli soldiers operating bulldozers to demolish that families home before their very eyes. (I'm not sure what news report this was in. Might not be either one of them.)

Another serious problem is the locations the Israeli's choose to create their settlements. Quite often, they are strategically placed near a Palestinian settlement's natural resource draws e.g. water table, upriver, etc. Essentially robbing them of their means to grow crops or just having enough clean drinking water.
