After spending 3 unsuccessful months trying to find a rental property, it is clear Irish people are greedy and scabby c**ts when it comes to letting property.

I’m losing a friendship due to this. Works in her Dad’s company, he bought her a house. She is “bored” of the job so wants to go back to college and is complaining that she will have to rent out rooms or move home and rent out the house, but then she has to “deal with issues or have a management company take loads of money to do it” she wants to ensure it is a yearly rolling contract all the while complaining that she will have to live off the rental income whilst in college. Bare in mind she got a free ride in college first time round on a full grant as they pretended her Dad wasn’t around.

Girl is completely oblivious to how lucky she is. It isn’t the rich dad I have the issue with, I was delighted for her when she first started the process. But people who don’t have the self awareness to realise they don’t know what real world struggles people have drives me up the wall. It actually makes me appreciate not having anyone to hand me things in life. I have worked hard for all I have, it’s a valuable attribute to have as a person.
