After watching All Gas No Brakes

It is interesting to me that you keep putting forth Scandinavian systems. They do have some great programs, and the high living standards and low income disparity is admirable. There’s no shortage of articles crowing the advantages of Finland’s educational system. All that at the price of high personal debt (some articles report higher then America) and, apparently, a far less able education in Sweden and Denmark. Yes, our quality of education may have disparities, but I’d be surprised if they’re as large as the differences between Finland and Sweden/Denmark. I mostly say this because it’s easy to point out issues as an outsider which no real knowledge of the affect on quality of life. I might argue that at this point social healthcare might do more for education then putting more into education, but I’m not sure you understand the nuances in lack of support systems and cheap childcare that are very likely the true reason for the stacking of the deck. Our issues are extremely systemic, we need to make intelligent choices and not simply poor money into a single reform.
