After watching the Joe Rogan podcast with Edward Snowden, how do you personally feel about him? Do you think what he did was right or wrong? Should we be awarding whistleblowers like himself?

I agree that wikileaks should be a platform that allows whistleblowers to blow the whistle and that is the image they are trying to portray.

But what arguments do you have to say that is reality? Who are you to say the source of the information is an objective "whistleblower" as opposed to an authoritarian dictator who is pushing his own agenda, selectively releasing information damaging to his rivals while withholding damaging information about those he supports?

It's this kind of dilemma which muddies the whole water of what being a "whistleblower" is. I'd argue an authoritarian government should not be awarded the same protections as a true whistleblower and any information provides by such an entity should be suspect.

Which leaves us with wikileaks, we know Assange was on Putins payroll and relied on the Russian government for support. I'd argue that conflict of interest alone makes any information provided by him suspect.
