Aftermath of man who committed suicide with a shotgun

My grandmother recently passed due to Alzheimer's. It was truly heartbreaking. One thing that everyone always respected about her was how independent she was, and in the latter years of her life she was debilitated to a wheelchair, not even capable of speaking. More than anything it seemed like the disease made her a prisoner.

On top of that, my grandfather also has Alzheimer's. When we went to her funeral, he would forget where he was and had to be reminded that he was attending the funeral of his wife. That's what was truly devastating to me, seeing him go from being confused to instantly heartbroken, over and over again.

Fuck Alzheimer's.
