Tbf my first interaction with true racism was when I was in jail. As a white male I was not taken very kindly although I was really just trying to get through it with as little as trouble as possible. It’s a complicated topic of conversation. But at the same time we have people saying “there is no racism” as we have people saying a certain class of people can’t be racist because of their skin color. Race issues are a shitshow of a conversation because in my opinion it’s a result of ignorance, economic disparity, religious zealotry.

People get caught up in shaming people for being racist but address the issues that forward this type of mentality. I.e. the prison industrial complex
