Agents find sniper rifle, stash of weapons in home of “Zip Tie Guy”

Calling it a standard hunting rifle is just as disingenuous as the article calling it a sniper rifle since we don't know what the make or model actually is. The agents specifically call that one weapon a sniper rifle and mention that it's tripod mounted, while calling the rest "other rifles". I don't know any hunters that lug tripods through the woods when looking for white tail.

My guess is that it's actually going to be something like a ruger precision with a bipod up front. Still totally legal, and I have a blast shooting my buddies, but I wouldn't call it a standard hunting rifle.

It could turn out to be a big boy gun. A 40 pound .50 cal or something. Still legal, but definitely not something the average hunter is going to want to hike around, not to mention the damage that round would cause to the game.
