Ahh the memories...Beta Gwent. Would pay BIG MONEY to play it one more time.

This. Like in case many card games, the majority of Gwent’s playerbase likes playing casually, meaning they only play a few games a week, and not necessarily on a daily basis. When you only play a few games a week, every single loss makes you feel bad, so you try either cheesy binary decks or decks that completely rely on suprise value to destroy your opponent. I get it. It’s fun to destory your opponent. It’s fun to demolish your opponent with a random Igni they didn’t play around because they didn’t expect it to be in your fucking Draug deck. But people need to realize how unhealthy this is for the game. There were many decks like this in beta, and it was a good decision from CDPR to change that.
